Our Approach to Treating Injuries
Our approach to treating injuries

Helping the body rebuild — not simply masking symptoms.

Personalised, mechanism-based regenerative medicine designed around the athlete, the injured tissue and the current stage of healing.

Regenerative medicine

The body is built to heal. Our role is to support that process.

The ability to heal has been essential for human survival from the beginning of our species. We repair tissues throughout life — from a childhood bruise to a cut on a finger.

Some injuries, however, are too extensive or too repetitive for the body to repair fully on its own. Tissue may begin to degenerate, and an acute problem can gradually become chronic.

Regenerative medicine focuses on supporting and accelerating the body’s own healing mechanisms so that damaged tissue can recover structure, strength and function as completely as possible.

The goal is not temporary symptom relief. The goal is to restore tissue as close as possible to its original state — restitutio ad integrum.
WADAathlete care

Transparent care for competitive athletes

Therapies are in accordance with WADA anti-doping requirements. Athletes receive a complete list of potentially used medicines after treatment, or in advance when requested. Guidance is also provided on supplements selected to minimise the risk of unintended contamination.

Why choose us

Why choose us

Our mission is to use modern, mechanism-based medicine to support healing and aim for restitutio ad integrum – restoring tissue as close as possible to its original state. We use well-established, evidence-based methods that are usually scattered across different medical fields, but in our clinic they are carefully integrated to work in synergy.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual athlete, the specific tissue and the current stage of healing – we do not apply a one-size-fits-all protocol to a diagnosis.

Our guiding principle is simple: treatment must not cause harm, either immediately or in the long term. Within this framework of safety and ethics, we achieve high success rates in treating everything from acute muscle injuries and tendinopathies to knee osteoarthritis, spinal problems and chronic bone oedema.

Every patient and every injury is a chance to refine our methods further. If you choose us, you can expect honest communication, precise diagnostics and a treatment plan built around your sport, your body and your goals.

How it started

How it all started...

It all began nearly 20 years ago with a simple yet profound question: how can patients recover more quickly and effectively? This question sparked a journey that would span decades, marked by relentless exploration and innovation. From the very beginning, the core idea was to create a personalised approach tailored to each patient’s unique physiology and medical history. It became clear early on that no two individuals are the same, and a one-size-fits-all treatment model would never suffice. This realisation set the foundation for a new direction in patient care, where every decision is guided by a deep understanding of the underlying biological mechanisms at play.

The integration of physiology, pathophysiology, anatomy, and biochemistry became a cornerstone of my approach. These disciplines, working in synergy, have been instrumental in uncovering ways to modify human metabolism and enhance the body’s innate ability to heal—all without causing harm. It is a delicate balance: influencing complex biological systems while ensuring patient safety and wellbeing. But it was precisely this complexity that served as both a challenge and a source of inspiration. Each chronic or complicated case pushed me further, urging me to explore new avenues and redefine what’s possible.

Without realising it at first, I found myself venturing into uncharted territory—developing my own form of regenerative medicine. This wasn’t a conscious decision at first; it evolved naturally out of the desire to help patients heal faster and more completely. As my research progressed, patterns and connections began to emerge that had previously eluded conventional methods. I realised that the body has remarkable regenerative potential, and the key was to find ways to unlock and amplify it. This approach went beyond conventional medicine, focusing not just on alleviating symptoms but on enhancing the body’s natural capacity for renewal and repair.

Looking back now, I can see how much I’ve grown and how far the research has come. What started as a quest to find better treatment options has transformed into a lifelong dedication to pushing the boundaries of medicine. I am constantly reminded of how little I knew when I began, and how much more there is still to discover. But with every successful outcome, every patient who regained their health and vitality, I am fuelled by a sense of purpose and a desire to keep striving for excellence. The countless lives touched and the breakthroughs achieved along the way serve as a testament to the power of perseverance and innovation in medicine.
